YUM! Cheese Making Class

Laurelyn delighted us with a variety of flavored Cream Cheeses, Mozzarella and Cottage Cheeses to taste. We had a delicious and wonderful time.  As Laurelyn demonstrated the processes you could feel the excitement in the air.  "Yes, I can do this!"
Miss H. the Wonderful Assistant.
We had Guests from near and far.
Donna, graced us all the way from Blackfoot, Idaho.
Thanks to ALL who came and enjoyed this class with us.
Even the cooking pot had a great time!

*This was the final class for this season.  Check back with us early Spring 2011 for a new class schedule.
See you in the Gardens!

Cheese Making Class

CHEESE MAKING
Saturday, September 18
10am-12pm

Learn how to make soft cheese in your own kitchen.  Examples of soft cheese are cottage cheese, cream cheese, Neufchatel cheese, cheese spreads and cheese curd.  Specialty cheeses, such as flavored cheese spreads, can be made with either cream cheese or Neufchatel.  Soft cheeses can be made at home without specialized equipment.  Once you’ve learned the process of making soft cheese you are well on your way to making hard pressed cheese. Come learn how to make this healthy, nutritious and delicious food.

To sign up call Shelley @ (801)318-4657 or Tonya @ (801)318-3431.

Phil's Patio Tomatoes

Mmm... I am looking forward to biting into my first fresh, juicy tomato from my patio tomato pot.   Phil's Patio Tomato class was wonderful.  We enjoyed a beautiful morning in The Gardens as we learned from Phil Miller.  If you couldn't make it, we look forward to seeing you next time in The Gardens.

Chicken Class

This morning we were enriched by Laurelyn Hansen's Backyard Chicken Keeping Class.  If you were not able to attend and wanted to, let us know so we can possibly schedule another session.  I have had chickens for awhile and still learned a lot from the instruction.  Thanks Laurelyn!

The Chicken Tractor Class will be scheduled soon.  Watch details.
